<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse pointer control method and device by which a display part can be easily selected by a mouse pointer even when each display part is small for the size of the mouse pointer due to the overlap of plural display parts. SOLUTION: A mouse pointer 102 is moved and stopped at GUI parts 102 and 104 displayed in an overlapped state, and after the lapse of a prescribed time, the multiplex level M of the GUI parts 102 and 104 is checked by a multiplex level check part 12, and a reduction rate R of the mouse pointer 102 corresponding to the multiplex level M is retrieved from a reduction rate management table 13, and this reduction rate R is notified to a mouse pointer control part 11. The mouse pointer control part 11 automatically reduces the mouse pointer 102 according to the applied reduction rate R.</p> |
