PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate viewing of the images of a night vision device. SOLUTION: A night vision device is provided with an objective lens, an image-reinforcing tube having a fluorescent face taking in light which is made incident on the objective lens, converting light into electrons and converting the converted electrons into light and an eyepiece taking in light from the image-reinforcing tube. A filter whose light transmssivity can be changed is arranged between the fluorescent face and the eyepiece or at the outer side of the eyepiece (between the eyepiece and the eyes of a user).
