PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely mount a disk cartridge to a cartridge mounting section by preventing the erroneous insertion of the disk cartridge. SOLUTION: A groove 18 for shutter opening control opened at one end facing a third flank 2c orthogonal with first and second flanks 2a and 2b is formed at a first flank 2a of a cartridge body 2. The second flank 2b is provided with an insertion section 51a which is inserted with the disk cartridge formed with a groove 19 for erroneous insertion prevention parallel with a groove 18 for shutter opening control and shorter in the length from the third flank 2c than the groove 18 for shutter opening control, a housing section 51 which houses the disk cartridge inserted from the insertion section 51a, a shutter opening control section 52 which is disposed at the inner wall of the housing section 51 and executes the opening control of a shutter 9 by advancing into the groove 18 for shutter opening control of the disk cartridge inserted from the insertion section 51a and a projecting part 53 which is disposed on the inner face facing the inner face provided with the shutter opening control section 52 of the housing section 51 and advances into the groove 19 for accidental insertion prevention.
