PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel ventilation device capable of reducing tunnel excavation quantity while securing construction limit for a tunnel for automobiles. SOLUTION: In a tunnel 1 for automobiles, a construction limit 2 is supposedly set. A space such as a shoulder or an emergency parking zone 3 provided on each side of an automotive traveling road surface in the tunnel 1 is excavated in a rectangular cross section to form a groove. In the groove, a jet fan or booster fan 5 is disposed. On the upstream side or downstream side of the jet fan or booster fan, an inclination part 8 and a duct 9 are formed. At a tip of the inclination part, a discharge port 10 and a suction port 11 are formed. Exhaust gas of automobiles is introduced from the suction port 11 into the ground to be discharged from the discharge port 10 above the ground again.
