PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lightweight construction for maintaining the rolling fatigue life of structural parts of a thrust ball bearing for supporting a power roller. SOLUTION: The cross section area of a supporting plate portion 7 constituting a trunnion 6 is S, the length L and the section modulus Z. (S.L)/Z is restricted to be within the limit of 10-35, preferably 15-30. As a result, the load of balls constituting the thrust ball bearing is equalized to achieve the above purpose.
