<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent each carrier from colliding with each other in a rail carrying device in which plural carriers are allowed to continuously travel guided by a rail. SOLUTION: A semi-circular arch-shaped reflector 3 is set along a rail R outside a curved part R1 of the rail R, and a light L projected from a rear carrier V is reflected on the reflector 3 so as to be butted to a preceding carrier V', and a reflected light L' is received so that a distance between the two front and rear carriers V' and V can be detected, and when the distance is made not more than a fixed value, the rear carrier V is decelerated or stopped.</p> |
