PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nonmagnetic single-component toner which shows stable image density without causing void even in a low transfer electric field and without causing problems such as fog and failure in the follow-up property for a solid image and which has good durability, and to provide a method of manufacturing the toner. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic single-component color toner contains resin particles consisting of at least a binder resin and a coloring agent, and an additive added to the surface of the resin particles. The additive is added in an aggregated state on the surface of resin particles. In the method of manufacturing the toner, the nonmagnetic single-component color toner containing resin particles consisting of at least a binder resin and a coloring agent and containing an additive added to the surface of the resin particles is manufactured, and the additive added does not disintegrate the aggregated state.
