CONTROLLER AND ITS CONTROL PROGRAM REWRITING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of reducing transfer capacity to a RAM even in the case of second download and afterward, reducing buffer capacity necessary to be secured and further speeding up a rewriting processing of a control program, and its control program rewriting method. SOLUTION: Writing to a flash memory is performed by storing a maker logic identifier in an area where no rewriting of the flash memory is performed in the case of rewriting of firmware after identification is performed by a maker identification program when writing is performed by a program in a boot ROM at the first time and transferring a writing algorithm only of a maker corresponding to the maker logic identifier to a RAM after reading the stored maker logic identifier on the flash memory at the second time and afterward.
