摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor which allows the insertion of a heat pipe of one kind of diameter into substrates for photoreceptors having various diameters so as to exhibit its function without previously preparing the columnar heat pipes of various different diameters in compliance with the cylindrical substrate of the electrophotographic photoreceptor having various diameters and is cost effective and efficient in terms of productivity. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor consists in using the columnar heat pipe inserted to the inner side of the cylindrical conductive substrate, subjecting the heat pipe to vapor deposition of a photoconductive material under temperature control of the substrate to form a photosensitive layer on the outer peripheral surface of the substrate and interposing a metallic pipe having the thickness to come into contact with the columnar heat pipe and the cylindrical conductive substrate between both.
