PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display unevenness and alignment disorders of a liquid crystal material by fixing a distance between substrates, without having to use particulate spacers. SOLUTION: Relating to the liquid crystal display device comprising a pair of substrates, on which at least electrodes are formed and which are alignment treated and the liquid crystal material injected between the pair of the substrates, the device is characterized by having columnar resin adhered at least to one out of the pair of the substrates formed between the pair of the substrates.
