PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method, which avoid complication of the device without having to use a ground color detection means of an optical scanner device or the like and can obtain a high definition color reproducibility, even in the case of using a paper sheet having a low whiteness or a color other than white. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a display device 100, which is constituted so that an assumed color equal to or approximate to the color of a printed face of a recording medium can be displayed. The display device is constituted so that color display of the assumed color can be changed freely. The assumed color displayed on the display device is set visually, then printing processing corresponding thereto is performed to form an image. |
