PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot water supply apparatus performing hot water boil up operation automatically while preventing low water heating of a heater. SOLUTION: Conduction control is started (Step S100), flow rate of water in a hot water storage tank 2 is detected by a flow rate detector 10 (Step S101) and then a decision is made at a control section 8 whether the detected flow rate is equal to or higher than a specified value or not (Step S102). Based on the decision result, a heater 6 is conducted and boil up operation is executed (Step S103).
