<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image carrier from being soiled so as to improve image forming quality by restraining a toner horizontally flying phenomenon that toner adheres to the end of the image carrier. SOLUTION: A developing device 3 is provided with a developing sleeve 3a (developer carrier) arranged to be opposed to a photoreceptor drum 1, and the surface roughness of an end area in the developing area of the sleeve 3a is set to be smaller than that in a center part area.</p> |
