ANGULAR HOLE SNAP ENGAGEMENT FASTENER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify work of installing a sheet onto a device rack. SOLUTION: This snap engagement fastener is provided for connecting two sheets to each other to be fixed by snap engagement. A side part extended part of a fastener main body includes a clinch part to be permanently installed on a first metal sheet. An integrated snap arm protruded from the fastener main body over the opposite side surface of a first sheet is installed on a hole of proper sizes in a second sheet for composing a repeatedly usable installation means for connecting the two sheets to each other. The two sheets are provided with angular holes formed in parallel to an axial line of an angular hole in the fastener on both sides of the axial line, and arranged so that the snap arm integrated with the fastener main body can be inserted. A lock mechanism may be used for holding the snap arm at its engagement position so as to prevent removal of the second sheet. In addition, a finger clip integrated with the fastener main body composes a handle for carrying the installed sheets which is favorable from the viewpoint of human engineering.
