PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite filament nonwoven fabric for a filter, having higher properties for collecting powder dust and excellent in pleating property as an air filter use requiring the high collecting properties. SOLUTION: This composite filament nonwoven fabric is characterized in that the composite filament nonwoven fabric is obtained by laminating a filament nonwoven fabric composed from a polymer with the low melting point to a filament nonwoven fabric including an ultrafine fiber, and thermally bonding the nonwoven fabrics by the fusion or the softening of the polymer with the low melting point.
