PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small coating-forming device capable of forming an improved coating on the outer circumference of an optical fiber. SOLUTION: On a base 1, a first holding part 3 for holding an optical fiber is arranged, as is a second holding part 4 that holds the optical fiber at a position with an interval in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber from the holding position by the first holding part 3. In a fashion held between these first and second optical fiber holding parts 3, 4, a recoating part 2 is provided which forms a coating on the outer circumference of the optical fiber. The second holding part 4 is equipped with a driving module 9 moving in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber, while the first holding part 3 is equipped with a sensor 8 for detecting the magnitude of a tensile force imparted to the optical fiber. The recoating part 2 is provided with a vibration module 12 for removing bubbles from a coating resin which is injected in a resin injecting mold 11.
