PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile phone that can easily open a cover case in one operation and adjust an open angle of the cover case in a plurality of steps. SOLUTION: The foldable mobile phone of this invention is configured by connecting a cover case to a main body case via a hinge mechanism. A hinge assembly 7 configuring the hinge mechanism is provided with a main body drive member 72 that is engaged with block of the main body case, a cover drive member 71 that is engaged with the block of the cover case, a drive spring 5 that turns the cover drive member 71 in an open direction of the cover case, a hold mechanism that holds the cover case to a closing position, and an operation button 41 that releases the hold state by the hold mechanism. Furthermore, the main body drive member 72 is formed with a cam groove 8, a cam follower 78 is projected from the cover drive member 71 and a cam curve along which the cover case is held at a plurality of angular attitudes is given to the cam groove 8.
