摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems on a cooling structure for a stator winding, such that poor contact between laminated electric iron sheets results at a position at which the tooth tip of a stator core is not supported by an internal spacing piece increases contact heat resistance in a lamination direction, causing poor transfer of heat generated in the stator winding to cooling gas in a ventilating duct, and at a place where the poor contact exists, the stator core spreads in the direction of the width of the ventilating duct being narrowed, to increase pressure loss of the ventilating duct. SOLUTION: This stator for rotating electric machine, having the stator core disposed around the rotor for the electric machine and formed by laminating a plurality of electric iron sheets and the ventilating duct 11 formed by internal spacing pieces 12 inserted in between the iron cores, is formed into a structure is which the whole iron core is fastened on both axial sides. The internal spacing pieces 12 are disposed along both sides of a slot in which the stator winding 6 is inserted.
