PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump capable of improving sealing performance of a seal member in the case where a fuel pump is operated in a low temperature, and suppressing generation of fuel leakage from a space between a solenoid valve and a pump member. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 13 for communicating and separating a pressurizing chamber 16 and a low pressure fuel passage 27 with/from each other, is attached on an upper surface of a pump housing 14. An attached surface 31a extending from a lower part of a coil 18 built into the solenoid valve 13 is formed on the solenoid valve 13. An attaching surface 14a extending to a lower part of the coil 18 corresponding to the attached surface 31a is formed on an upper surface of the pump housing 14. The seal member 34 is disposed between the attaching surface 14a and the attached surface 31a so as to be positioned on the lower part of the coil 18, and a warming-up performance of the seal member 34 is improved by utilizing heating of the coil 18. |
