PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage device capable of being reduced in size by effectively using a dead space. SOLUTION: There are provided a plurality of heat storage tanks 13 including a heat storage container 21 filled with heat storage material therein; a heater 25 for heating the heat storage material; and a heat transfer pipe 24 allowing water to flow therein and arranged in the heat storage container 21 so as to perform heat exchange between the heat storage material and the water. In addition, the heat storage container 21 is formed into an cylindrical shape having a bottom part, heat storage tanks 13 of two or more rows and two or more stages are stacked up and then a heat transfer pipe 24 connecting each of the heat storage tanks 13 is arranged in an inner space S1 formed near the contact part between the adjoining heat storage tanks 13. Due to this fact, the inner space S1 acting as a dead space can be utilized effectively as a piping space and subsequently the heat storage device 11 can be reduced in size. |
