PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device preventing a mold, press bonding a metal fitting with a wire, from breakage. SOLUTION: The terminal crimping device is composed of a device main body, and an applicator mounted on the device body and a source of driving. The applicator have an anvil and a cpimper, opposing the anvil, contacting with and separating from the same. The applicator comprises a ram bolt 15, interlocking with the contact and separation movement of the crimper against the anvil, a shank 16 and a mechanism restricting part 18. The shank is connected to the source of driving. The relative location of the shank 16 against the ram bolt 15, along the direction of contact and separation of the anvil and the crimper, is mutually changeable. The mechanism restricting part 18 restricts the bound in which the shank 16 and the ram bolt change the relative location so as to make the distance between the anvil and the crimper correspond with the outer diameter of wire.
