PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of preventing the smooth communication control of the facsimile machine on a transfer path from being blocked awing to the use of a prescribed procedure signal when performing ring type simultaneous transmission. SOLUTION: This facsimile machine inhibits the use of an EOR-Q signal recommended bf the T.30 of an ITU-T in a ring type simultaneous transmission mode and allows the use of the EOR-Q signal in other facsimile transmission modes being different from the ring type simultaneous transmission. As set information used in the case of performing ring type simultaneous transmission, there are a nickname, a sub address signal and the next destination (telephone number), and these pieces of information are associated with a ring type simultaneous transmission number to be registered in a RAM 18.
