PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handling performance of a file such as a converted picture or a document. SOLUTION: The format to be converted of original picture data 2 being the origin of conversion is indicated by an inputting device 1. When a data processor 3 starts corresponding software from the original picture data 2 being the origin of conversion by retrieving it from a private database 4 and, or issues a print instruction, a data processor 6 being virtual printing equipment integrates the original picture data into visible information based on the print instruction applied from the corresponding software, and prepares data-integrated worked picture data 7 on a prescribed recording medium. Then, a data processor 8 obtains a target picture file 12 by calling a conversion processing module corresponding to the format indicated by the inputting device 1 from among plural conversion processing modules 9, 10, and 11 in response to the worked picture data 7 on the recording medium, and converts the original picture data 2 into a specific format.
