PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taping technique by which defective winding of a tape can be suppressed. SOLUTION: Since the clamping sections 1c and 1d of a leading chuck 1 and the clamping sections 2c and 2d of a trailing chuck 2 have such widths that enable the sections 1c, 1d, 2c, and 2d to enter into the space between the flange sections Bf of a bobbin B, the starting end and terminating end of a tape T can be clamped until the ends approach a wire wound around a cylindrical section Bc. Consequently, the uncontrollable peel of the ends can be suppressed to the utmost and, accordingly, the defective winding of the tape T can be suppressed.
