PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snubber capacitor, capable of reducing a wiring reactance value, ensuring high reliability, without damaging connecting means by fixing the connecting means together with a case, and attaining miniaturization of a device. SOLUTION: A capacitor element 1, whose section is oval is used so as to reduce the distance from a connection hole 3 to a case external wall in the direction of the capacitor and the connect means 2, is disposed on a line 11 which is moved in parallel from a parallel line 10 passing on or near the center of gravity of a snubber capacitor attaching surface 9, so as to be perpendicular to the attaching surface to eliminate swinging of a body to oscillation, thus it is possible to ensure reliability of fixing and connection. At least one of the connect hole 4 and the case 5 is a hole, having different vertical length from horizontal length so as to be adaptable with respect to terminal pitches of various switching elements. |
