PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with which an always stable and good image can be obtained without being influenced by fluctuation in parts characteristics in a process cartridge irrespective of the state of the cartridge by taking 'the characteristic value concerning image forming' of the recycled process cartridge into the image forming device, and optimizing control conditions at image forming based on the taken information, while suppressing the cost of the image forming device as much as possible. SOLUTION: In the image forming device equipped with the process cartridge detachable from the main body of the image forming device and recycled, the characteristic values concerning image forming are measured and the data are packaged together with the recycled process cartridge before shipping. Or the characteristic values concerning image forming are measured, and the measured values are converted into alphabetic information or graphical information to output on paper, and then the paper is packaged together with the recycled process cartridge before shipping. |
