<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect presence of transmission diversity, using a simple arithmetic operation processing. SOLUTION: The method for reporting the presence of especially the STTD (space-time block coding based transmit antenna diversity) transmission diversity in spread spectrum communication conducting the transmission diversity, uses two primary CPICH symbols placed at 0-th and 1st bits of even numbered of slots and an SCH symbol placed at the 0-th bit of the same slot, to conduct a prescribed arithmetic processing with a configuration shown in Figure 1, thereby detecting the presence of the STTD transmission diversity.</p> |
