PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purchase mediation system for enabling even the users of the credit cards of respective companies and the each cards of a post office/ bank to perform the purchase and payment of an article by utilizing a network. SOLUTION: When card users 20 and apply for the purchase of the article to a member shop 13, the article purchase intention by the card users 20 and 22 is transmitted from the member shop 13 to a purchase mediation mechanism 11. The purchase mediation mechanism 11 requests the account settlement to the post office/ bank 14 or requests authentication to a credit card company 15 and the purchase mediation mechanism 11 which obtains the response of account settlement OK from the post office/bank 14 or the response of authentication OK from the credit company 15 reports the approval of selling to the member shop 13 through the Inter 12. Then the member shop 13 provides the article for the card users 20 and 22 and reports the sale to the purchase mediation mechanism 11. |
