METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING CANDIDATE FOR TEXT FROM INFERENCE INPUT SOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a candidate list for a selected text. SOLUTION: At the time of deciding candidates for the selected text, an inference input connector decomposes the selected text into text elements for respective input sources. The inference input connector retrieves probability models including the candidates of the respective text elements. When the text elements are the processing result of continuous inference input sources, the inference input connector acquires the probability models accurately reflecting the probability of the result of all the input sources. The inference input connector prepares the candidate list for the selected text by connecting the retrieved probability models. The inference input connector can correct the candidate list by applying a natural language principle to the entire selected text. The candidate list for the selected text is presented to a user. When the user selects one of the candidates, a word processor replaces the selected text with the selected candidate.
