PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonreversible circuit element that satisfies a request for its small profile and can improve its electric characteristics, and communication equipment. SOLUTION: In a central electrode assembly 44, three central electrodes 41 to 43 are arranged on the surface of block-shaped microwave ferrite 45 in an electrical insulation state while being crossed with one another at every about 120 deg.. The ferrite 45 is thicker than conventional ferrite (representative value: 0.4 mm) by the thickness of one central electrode (about 0.05 mm). A groove 45a which is as wide as the electrode of the central electrode 42 and as deep as the thickness of the electrode 42 is formed on the surface of the ferrite 45. The electrode 42 is housed in the groove 45a. The two central electrodes 41 and 43 are arranged projectingly from the surface of the ferrite 45.
