PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device whose life is long and which stably secures fixing quality. SOLUTION: This induction heating type fixing device is equipped with a cylindrical body to be heated formed of a conductive member and induction coils 15a and 15b making the cylindrical body to be heated generate an induction current so as to generate heat. The cylindrical body to be heated is constituted by providing a conductive heat generating member 12 on the outer periphery of a cylinder member 21 capable of being injection-molded.
