STENCIL PRINTING EMULSION INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a stencil printing emulsion ink which can stably obtain prints of consistent quality since the variation in viscosity of the ink in a printing machine is small even after effecting printings of a large number of copies and the leakage of the ink from the plate cylinder of a printing machine and the end portions of a stencil printing paper does not occur. SOLUTION: In the water-in-oil type emulsion ink composed of an oil phase and an aqueous phase, the viscosity at a shear rate (1/s) of 1 at 23 deg.C of a nonscattering component present in the oil phase is set at 10-100 (Pa.s). The viscosity may be adjusted by adding a viscosity modifier into the oil phase.
