PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a difference between the ground potential of an A/D converter and the ground potential of an A/D converter evaluation device. SOLUTION: The A/D converter evaluation device is provided with a first voltage dividing means dividing an applied reference voltage based on a digital signal, a comparison means comparing the level of the divided reference volt with the level of a sampled analog signal, a means generating the digital signal and outputting the digital signal based on the difference of the compared levels, a second voltage dividing means having resolution to convert the analog signal into the digital signal even if a potential difference between the ground potential of a reference voltage source applying the reference voltage with the ground potential of an A/D converter main body is larger than a volt level for one minimum quantized bit, a switching means which can change over the first voltage dividing means and the second voltage dividing means and a generation means generating the analog signal by making the ground potential of the A/D converter main body as a reference based on the reference voltage and the second voltage dividing means.
