PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk clamping mechanism of an optical disk device by which chipping down of a clamper can be prevented at the time of assembling and disassembling. SOLUTION: In the disk clamping mechanism in which the clamper 3 is held by engaging a flange 3a provided at the clamper 3 to an edge of a hole 2a of a holder in a state where the clamper 3 is projected from the hole 2a of the holder 2 at the time of clamping no disk, a hood 2b covering above the clamper 3 is integrally formed at the holder 2.
