TUBE END OPENING PART CLOSING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube end opening part closing device to prolong the service life of a tower-like object by closing the tube end opening part of a brace material with a steel tube of the tower-like object so as to protect the inside of the tube. SOLUTION: An upper metal fitting allowed to abut on the tube end opening part of a brace material is connected to a lower metal fitting inserted into a tube through a long bolt a viscous and nondrying sealing material is provided between both metal fittings, and a spring piece coming in contact with a tube inside wall is installed on the outside of the lower metal fitting. When the bolt is rotated, both metal fittings compress the sealing material to make to flow and deform the sealing material so as to invade the sealing material in a clearance at the tube end opening part in order to close the opening part.
