PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the superposition of fluorescences generated from a plurality of specimen points at the positions of detection elements. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for detecting fluorescences from a plurality of sample points 2, especially, from minute gene points or micro-points, the specimen points 2 are arranged on a slide 1. This apparatus includes at least one light source for illuminating the specimen points at the same time using exciting light and the detection elements 3 for detecting fluorescences from the individual specimen points at the same time. The interval (d) between the specimen points 2 and the detection elements 3 individually alloted thereto is selected so as to become as narrow as possible.
