Process for the anodic oxidation of metallic inner surfaces of a capillary-like hollow chamber comprises passing an electrolyte through the chamber; connecting the inner surfaces to the anode of a voltage source; and immersing an electrode connected to the cathode of the voltage source in the electrolyte that lies outside of the chamber.
