<p>The invention concerns a method for oxidising hydrocarbons, in particular saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons, whether branched or not, cycloaliphatic and alkylaromatic hydrocarbons into acid or polyacid compounds. More particularly, the invention concerns oxidation of cyclohexane into adipic acid with an oxidising agent containing molecular oxygen, in the presence of a lipophilic organic acid and in the absence of adipic acid. The separation and recycling of the non-oxidised cyclohexane from the oxidation intermediates and the catalysts are made easier than in the presence of acetic acid.</p> |
