The pads (44) also extend with an arcuate portion (48) to act between the part ( 16) and journal (11). An underside plan of the part (16) is indicated in Fig. 2 and it comprises vertical guide grooves (26), which engage guides (not shown) on the wagon bogie, together with inwardly projecting locating bosses (30) having slots (43) which accommodate the pads (44). The journal (11) locates in the part (16) and is formed with a thrust shoulder (13) and an annular collar (12) at its outermost end. |
