The invention concerns a built-in brick (0) comprising at least at a male end, a male element (1) shaped like a protuberance designed to be partly inserted and maintained in a hollow female element (2) provided in another brick (0) to produce a decorative assembly (5) capable of adjustment. The invention is characterised in that said male element (1) comprises at one end a part with reduced cross-section (11) then a locking part (12) with larger cross-section, so as to create at the longitudinal ends of the part with reduced cross-section (11) two projecting planes S1 and S2 and said female element (2) has an opening (21) producing a projecting plane P1 with sufficient cross-section to enable said part (11 and 12) to be inserted and at least a cavity (22) having a larger cross-section than the cross-section of the opening (21) and producing a projecting plane P2, so as to enable the rotation R of the projecting planes S1 and S2 respectively on the projecting planes P1 and P2, or inversely. The invention also concerns an assembly of brick portions (0) and a decorative assembly such as a shelf, seat or table produced by assembling a plurality of said bricks (0).
