A process and device are disclosed for retransmitting non speech-bound information between a mobile communication network and one or several other communication networks. In order to route packet data to the relevant communication network independently of the receiver address, the transmission path for retransmitting information is set depending on the identification key. For that purpose, a logical transmission channel is associated to each identification key and each logical transmission channel is bound to a precise physical transmission channel. At the mobile communication network (10), an identification key is associated to each incoming logical transmission channel (11 to 1n). Incoming, predeterminable logical transmission channels (11 to 1n) from the mobile communication network (10) are permanently connected each to a selected outgoing physical transmission channel (21, 31, 41) towards another communication network (20, 30, 40). At least one incoming logical transmission channel (10) from the mobile communication network (10) may be associated to each outgoing physical transmission channel (21, 31, 41) towards another communication network (20, 30, 40). |
