The present invention relates to a foreign language study system using a communication terminal unit. After the standard pronunciation data of a foreign language and the data for analyzing a pattern of phonetic signals of a user by using the standard pronunciation data are established as database in a main server, the necessary menu data for a foreign language study are provided to the communication terminal of the user when the user connects to the main server by using his communication terminal and the phonetic signals of the user are received and stored when the user pronounces a predetermined sentence or word according to the menu data provided by the main server. The main server analyzes the phonetic signals of the user and the pattern of the standard pronunciation and outputs the analyzed data of the pronunciation to the communication terminal so that the user can study a foreign language.
