Preventive or therapeutic drugs for eye diseases including inflammatory eye diseases, ocular hypertension, and glaucoma, which drugs contain as the active ingredient a steroid compound (I) exhibiting both a potent anti-inflammatory effect and an effect of either inhibiting ocular tension increase or lowering ocular tension and not causing ocular tension increase even after long-term administration.
