The direct current regulating unit has two arrangements, each containing a charging inductance (L3,L4), a semiconducting switch (T2,T1) and a diode (D3,D2) supplying an output capacitance (C6-C9) , arranged in a quasi-parallel manner with drive arrangements for their charging inductances switched in opposite phases by the semiconducting switching elements. Independent claims are also included for the following: a control stage for igniting power transistors for a direct current regulating unit.
