A viscous polymer composition comprises polymer A and/or polymer B, along with polymer C, polymer D and/or filler E. Polymer A contains 4-10C diene monomer and 8-20C vinyl aromatic monomer. Polymer B contains 2-20C olefin monomer, 2-10C vinyl alcohol monomer and 2-10C carboxylic acid monomer. Polymer C contains vinyl aromatic monomer(s). Polymer D contains 4-10C diene and halogen(s). Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) production of polymer composition which involves contacting components A-E with each other; (ii) composite which comprises the polymer composition and elastic material having energy loss of less than 50%, stiffness at 200-400 N of 150-300 N/mm, stiffness at 1000-1500 N of 400-700 N/mm, specific weight of 0.1-0.3 g/cm<3> and elasticity of 30-75%; (iii) shoe sole, which comprises the polymer composition or the composite; and (iv) use of the polymer composition for production of shoe soles.
