At least one of the legs (17) on which at least one of the front or rear wheel groups (15) is mounted comprises a twin arm lever pivotally secured to the seat shell (1). The arm (24) furthest from this corresponding first wheel group is connected to a leg in the second wheel group in an articulated fashion via at least one coupling rod (25) extending between the second wheel group and the pivot axle for the other leg.
