<p>Urease inhibitors and drugs against Helicobacter pylori which contain, as the active ingredient, isothiazole derivatives represented by the following general formula (1) wherein R1 represents hydrogen or amino; R2 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or acetyl; and X represents carbon or nitrogen. These drugs are efficacious in preventing and treating gastrointestinal diseases caused by urease of Helicobacter pylori such as chronic gastritis and gastroduodenal ulcer.</p> |
