Condition-oriented regulation method for conveyor belt has reconstructed process parameters compared with measured process parameters and weighted for providing feedback regulation values

The regulation method uses off-line and/or on-line monitoring and additional process data obtained from the control and regulation devices for the conveyor belt for determining the condition of the conveyor belt using a model. A reconstructed process parameter, e.g. the conveyor belt velocity, is compared with a corresponding measured process parameter and the obtained difference is weighted with a matrix based on the optimum ratio between the system stabilisation, system robustness and the system sensitivity to process variations, to provide feedback values for the regulation.
