A cap (16) is provided for covering a port (20) of a fluid administration assembly (10). The cap (16) comprises a top wall (22), a side-cylindrical wa ll (24) defining an opening (28) into which said port (20) can be inserted, and an inside surface of the top (22) and side wall (24) which defines a chamber (30). The cap (16) further comprises a handle (32) extending from said top wall (22) and a plug (26) extending from the inside surface of said top wall (22) within said chamber (30).
