RESIN PARTICLE AND COSMETIC COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin particles having high flexibility as well as excellent slipperiness and extensibility. SOLUTION: These resin particles for cosmetics are spherical and are composed of resin minute particles having an average particle size of not more than 200 nm that are bonded together. The spherical resin particles can be obtained by spray-drying a dispersion of minute particles of the resin in water, in an organic solvent or in a mixture thereof. It is preferable to subject the spherical resin particles obtained by the spray-drying to thermal treatment at a temperature that is equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature of the resin.
